I'm just loving the Christmas collections "everybody loves Christmas" and "wintertime" from Echo Park, fun and funky papers will be looking out for new collections in 2011. I've never really been a one for Christmas layouts but these papers really inspired me along with all the fabby creations on the Echo Park Facebook page

Heres my lastest creations.....not a big fan of stickers but loved these bright and cheerful ones.

review of 2010

This year I haven't been very creative not many layouts done but will create a My Top 5 layouts of the year. Towards the end of year I got a few layouts done with Kirsty's Wednesday Night scrapping with facebook, next year I promise to get involved in more challenges on the blogs.........let me know you have a favourite challenge you follow.

The first one was created with one of favourite paper ranges of 2010 from Pink Paislee "Bayberry collection"
I used a sketch from Inspired blueprints blog

2nd one was completed using a kit from Sarah's cards, using "vintage poppy papers from Lily bee" these papers were also a new find for 2010.................will be looking out for other collections in 2011. Love the layout, created using a pencil line sketch, but think the journalling need a bit of tweeking

the 3rd created using another pencil line sketch and papers from a Sarah card kit featuring bo bunny flutterby papers. This layout was well out of my comfort zone.

4th is a bit fun and funky......using a sketch from Kirsty Wiseman and papers from Paper dolls collection by Crate Papers.

5th features another sketch from pencil lines papers from a kit from "my scrapbook nook" my minds eyes "so sophie" collection

be back tomorrow with a couple more layouts that I have completed recently.......

wedding card

Well now just 9 days to go and still struggling to get pressies sorted, hopefully will wrap what little I've got today, after walking pooch in the rain (tipping down here, at least its not snow at moment, but I want hold me breathe as I know its on its way), and then a visit to hairdressers ( I'm not a great one for hairdressers, always go in looking for a change and always come out with just a trim) hopefully today I'm going to brave, although I love the length don't want anything too short...............but a change is what I need.

A few months ago I met an uber talented lady, called Kim that runs the most fabulous cake business called "love cake", pop over to her website and see some of her scrummy creations...........and yes they taste delightful too. She asked me to create a card she could send out with her wedding cake orders..........this is what I created, very simple but she loved them.

10 days to go........

Oh my poor poor neglected blog, just dont seem to have any time or energy to get creative at moment.....life seems to be passing me by a hundred miles a hour. Well its 10 days to the big day, and house isn't ready, no shopping done..........so I'm getting more stressed as the days goes by, one year I will be organised and not super stressed. Last night I wrote Christmas cards, so thats one thing off the list, and the list is long, very long. Think I'm going to be a busy bee tomorrow on my day off.

here is a Christmas card I have made for family this year, very simple design..........a very old "anita's" stamp, and some paper from ki memories, added a bit of sparkle with stickles.

Kirsty was feeling a little unwell night so no live stream............hope you feel better soon. I'm quite happy with my layout even though I struggle with my mojo tonight.......I missed off the circles but added a few doodles to create some detail. more Wednesday night scrapping

I'm loving my Wednesday night scrapping, with the help of kirsty's sketches, she posts sketch about 8pm on her blog................there is usually a challenge too. I'm well inspired and become strangely creative. The online chat was funny, even made James chuckle. Lots of gorgeous layouts created and all so different, made me think about how we all started at the same point and end up with something completely different. I have tweeked my layout a little from last night, actually just added some journalling strips

Today is my day off but had to endure the joys of Asda............I'm sure online shopping is the way to go

supplies used are mainly papers from Crate (that just arrived yesterday) some thickers.........no title complete without them  and a bit string, ooooh and some stitching.

Monday Monday

Well thats the weekend sadly over..........Saturday went to WeightWatchers to get weighed and amazingly lost another 4lbs, so now only got 9lbs to goal, but thinking maybe need to loose another half a stone on top of that....10 stone seems a more likely target.

Yesterday the girls came over for a spot of lunch and a bit of scrapping...........I came up with this layout using  October Afternoon papers, based on Wendy's Pencil line sketch (#206). Checkout Wendys blog, fab work from a oober talented lady..............this week she has some fab card sketches to follow, I must have a go.

We think mice are rather nice

James loved this Cat n Mouse game when he was younger, also combined it with a well loved song as a title.

Hopefully will be back with something from Kirsty's Wednesday night online crop......I love Wednesdays.

Welcome back..........to me

Well well well.............its been such a long time since I blogged.

Where do I start......................

Firstly I have been trying to lose weight since May.......well I've lost about 19 pounds up to now, and got about 14 pounds to go. Weight lost is beginning to show now and finding most of my clothes don't fit anymore, so will have to buy a few new key pieces for the Autumn. I have been generally power walking about 20 to 30 miles a week most weeks apart from a couple weeks break when I was poorly. Now my health is on the up.....I've teamed up with James for a bit of running. Tonight is day 4 and we managed another 3 miles, I'll well proud of James and also myself..............thats 9.5 mile so far this week.

I joined Shimelle's new class for September........"Learn something new everyday" I'm a little behind in the prompts, but promise to show some stuff soon.

As I've been off work this last week or so, I have started the dreaded Xmas cards, made about 20ish of three designs..........so good start.

Last night I joined Kirsty Wiseman in her weekly online class on her blog, theres also a facebook group feel free to join HERE..................used the sketch she provided and a hour and half later, using a Scrapbook Nook kit (that was unused).....I had my first layout in months, thanks Kirsty for your inspiration.

OH DEAR

supplies used pp from lily bee, thickers, october afternoon mini alphas, chipboard, ink and some string.

Well hopefully I'm back to blogging more regularly now........goodnight for now

Father's day card

Hope everyone had a lovely bank holiday weekend. On Saturday I started my day getting weighed at weightwatchers lost 3lb in first week, 25lbs to go................yipee! Then a bit shopping with my mum. On Sunday had a quiet very lazy day, then went to see the MooBs again at The Mile.............they were great as ever. As Father's Day is a pproaching fast thought I best get myself into gear and started creating some new cards. These feature Pink Paislee 360 degrees paper collection, some kraft and buttons.......think the alpha are from October afternoon. Well some more to come but at least its a start...

New Card

Just a very quick post today, finished a new card for a special order.........and i'm quite pleased with how it turned out. I used mostly Pink Paislee "cupid papers" (think theses well feature a lot in next few cards as I have lots of scrap to use up), also added some of the new Basic Grey "basic" range...........I did cut into a 12x12 piece and Martha Stewart punches..............think the pin came from Papermaze.

Have a fabby Friday and I'll catch up at the weekend.

Monday, 10 May 2010

One very productive day.

Well hope everyone had a lovely weekend. Today I've got the Monday morning feeling, a very long list of to do stuff, but guess what no motivation. So thought I'd easy into the week by blogging then packing cards from the weekend. All these cards are made with scraps, I stuck to a similar colour theme............ there's alot more to come as scrap box is overflowing. I'm trying my best the reduce the amount of stash that I DON'T USE by using it up, selling on e bay and giving it away..........as all the stash needs to fit in one cupboard, that my dad is going to customise to store all my stuff, then can close the door instead of boxes piled up all over the floor in my bedroom. Yesterday spent all day in pj's card making.......................and didnt finish off til after 11pm, 20ish cards made, did have a few breaks, very productive day.

Thanks for looking, Angie x
