Its Thursday so Its a new seize the Birthday Challenge

Happy Thursday, I'm enjoying a coffee and an afternoon off, its extremely windy here on the North East so indoors is the best place to be.

Today's card was created using the sketch from "Seize the Birthday Challenge" this week is a male card, think we all struggle with men's cards so this challenge is a brill way to keep your stock topped up. The image is from Bugaboo, called Gus........you've got to love Gus, he is such fun. Papers are from my scrap box yet again (dont think i'll have to buy anymore papers this year) think they maybe scenic route, I loved their papers............are they still around?????

Lol I know have more scraps as Ive been chopping my 12 x 12 papers into 6x6 which are great from cards. I cant remember the last time I scrapped, its sad really, think ive forgot how to........

Enchanted

Todays card featured this amazing image from Saturated Canary........I coloured it with Promarkers, and reminded me of the film "enchanted" which was ideal as the recent challenge on the Saturated Canary blogs is inspiration from a film. I watched this film at Christmas for the first time and loved it.

Seize the birthday challenge 3

Todays card features the gorgeous new image from Tiddly Ink's. I also tried to add pleats to dress, its my first attempt and wasnt great, but practice practice practice. I'm loving the sketches at the new challenge blog "seize the birthday" this week is to create a feminine card with the sketch. I hand drew the flowers to match the ones in the image to add detail to the card. Haha still wading through my scraps, which are now organised scraps.

Sketch Saturday challenge 242

Oh havent I been a busy bee............buzz buzz.

The last few days has seen me knee deep in scrap of pattern papers and cut offs of coloured card, my my personal challenge to use up all my scrap from the huge box I featured in yesterdays blog.

For today's card I've featured a gorgeous digital stamp from digistamp boutique called "
Henry and Zoe get wed! " together with the recent sketch from Sketch saturday. I hand drew the pink hearts to match the stamped image and coloured them with promarkers, the added a bit of stickles.......quite please with the way they turned out. I kept the design fairly simple.

Well onwards and upwards....................back to scrap box.

ps stll thinking of a challenge of sort to use up my scraps......wondering if any fancies joining me, be great to pass on and share ideas. Will get my thinking cap on.

Saturday Sketch Challenge #241

Morning its quite chilly, we have a fluttering of snow here in the North East.

Todays card is a commission, Ive used the lovely sketch this week supplied by Sketch Saturday.....pop over and have a look, I love this blog. Ive challenged myself to craft out of my huge scrap box, so on Sunday I had a craft with scraps day..............got about 8/9 cards done, was quite pleased with myself.
I've used scraps to make this card too..........so no idea where the papers came from (think the love paper is from Echo park)  the image is from Digi Stamp Boutique which I've coloured with Promarkers (sorry not a great picture as have used my phone)

Happy New Year Bloggers

My New Years Resolution is to post more on my blog, I'm in awe of you peeps that blog almost everyday and share something wonderful crafty...............I must get my butt in gear, I haven't blogged since October 2012, although I'd done massives of Christmas cards and done several craft fairs. So 2013 more sharing and partaking in more Challenges.

Today's card is one I made n the back end of 2012, a bit of a break from the mass of Christmas cards, I've use a Tiddly Ink image (love these images, this will feature in my collection of Mother's day cards) The sentiment is from Pink Petticoat an awesome shop for great sentiments just adds a something a little special to a card.

Hope you likey,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I'm off to check out the Sketch Saturday challange and my aim is for today to make a card, actually featuring this stamp as 8 images all coloured and awaiting a new home are sitting on my desk.

Have a great Weekend and I'll be back.............I promise x
