just a little something

Not sure about you but sometimes I'm such a slow scrapper, this layout has sat on my desk for awhile as I couldn't decide if it need something else added............I started it with intentions of journaling a bit of a personal struggle I had with motherhood, but I wasnt brave enough or could find the words to say what I wanted. Well maybe I'll added it at a later date. I used a sketch from "creative scrapper" number #150, with is from 3rd April, so that was awhile. I used more Echo park "for the record papers" and some of my first attempt at rolled flowers.

I always struggle with journalling...........how do you journal? do you enjoy it or find it a struggle like me? I would love if you can leave link to anything you might think would help me.

Sorry, no link, but I also struggle with journalling. I always feel I sound so trite when I journal. I will keep an eye out for further comments and maybe some ideas.

often I write just one sentence or one idea, how I feel about the photo. Then I add the date and call it done

This is just gorgeous - yes I do struggle with journalling, and if it's going on my blog, then I tend to journal after I've shown it - as usually my journalling is more for my family than anything else.

i used to have challenges with journaling but now what works for me is just getting something, anything down. I have learned a lot about journaling from paperclipping.com Here is an article that really helped me. I hope it helps!

Beautiful layout!

Re: Journaling... I've learned not to stress about it. Every page (to me) does not have to be a journaling masterpiece. Sometimes, the photo tells the story. I just write what I feel and then it feels authentic!

Love the LO - will have a look at the sketch site.

Sometimes if I want to write something very personal, I write it on the back of the LO. You could always write it all in a letter to yourself & put it in an envelope attached to the back.

I struggle with journalling too, and motherhood! I'm hoping that taking more of Shimelle's classes will encourage me to get more down on the page that the bare basics.
