Buttons, buttons and more buttons
Its been a difficult week this week, as I attend a fellow scrapper and good friend Ann Power's funeral on Thursday. She was a remarkable woman and she touched so many peoples lives, I'm so glad to have known this Great woman. The Scrummy Design Team has decided to Run, Walk or Crawl the Race for Life on the 13th July in her memory, so any spare pennies will be greatly received for this wonderful charity.
Its Saturday..............that means a new Scrummy Blog Challenge. Today challenge to use buttons on your creations was set by Vanessa. Checkout the Scrummy Blog to see the details and to see what the design team has created. This week I have used this fun photo of James, he always give that cheeky grin whenever the camera was out..........such a poser!! I used a sketch from my favourite book of the moment Designing with Recipes book, this book is fab and brimming with ideas and sketch. The patterned paper and buttons are from the Chalk Garden Kit which is now reduced to a ridiculous price to make way for new kits...........watch this space

Eventually
Eventually got my New Year layout uploaded.............I'vecombined the Scrummy Challenge to use ribbons and the Elsie challenge 3 use a ribbon border, as I've had limited time to complete challenge at the moment but things are looking better for next few weeks so hopefully will catch up on all the Elsie challenges soon.
I've completed this layout using Junkitz "flowerful kit" from Scrummy Stash Cafe, left over ribbons from other Scrummy Kits and lots of doodling. The journalling reads: 2008...This year I want to be more positive about things and grab all opportunities with both hands.
