Haha........ Two posts in one day.......that must be a first. Was blog hopping yesterday and came across this sketch blog called Twisted Sketches which I found through Rachels Blog as she doing some fabby design work for them. I gives you a great sketch and an element to include, I used sketch #8 with my October Afternoon papers to create this layout

Heres my take on pencil line sketch #150. Completed using scenic route papers, I've had these for awhile so being a good girl and using up my old stash. Not bought anything new for ages, but have re subscribed to Sarahs kit, well that will be my monthly treat. Sorry photo is rubbish

Football Crazy

has it been that long......oh no!!!

Thought i was flying with my blog posts, but alas no. As I'm sorting out my stash, to pack away......as re organising. I've found myself scrapping a little more, using up some bits and pieces. My cards are selling well, but having a little break from constantly making cards......will restart soon. Also it a bit of a sad time too, as clearing cupboards found lots of James's childhood toys, well they'll be ebayed or sold at car boot sale soon........much loved lego, playmobil and lots of thomas stuff, also lots of board games some still in wrappers.

I'll hopefully be back soon with more layouts, but will leave you with a layout of james with my friends daughter, using the fab October Afternoon papers..........sort of forgot I had them....teehee Actually the colours are much more vibrant in real life....

After scraplifting Maria's fabulous layout fetaured on Pencil line blog. I thought i'd have a go at the sketch with my own work, I've used papers from Prima marketing and Scenic Route. Love the photo..........it sums up my son's personality in one go.

Card making returns

Morning........Cards have been selling well lately, so yesterday saw me in a bit of a card making frenzy. After a bit of a slow start, creative juices started to flow and managed about 14 in total all using Junkitz Fanciful papers, so easy to work with.

Smile like you mean it

Supplies used.....bazzill, pp from Ki memories (new purchase from scrapbook shop), acetate butterflies and brad from a studio calico kit, adorn it foam alphas, gems and collage press stamps.....I love what I created its completely different from my normal style.

Mojo has returned

Mojo seems to have returned, lets hope its not just a blip. Friday saw me attend a late night crop with good friend and fellow scrapper Maria. We havent met up in ages due to work comitments, but we packed are stash and heading of to Scrapbook Shop in Durham. Lucky enough my new kit from Sarahs Cards arrived had morning, but havent had a chance to look at it so took it along.
New shop is fab, stuff with delicious stash..........wasnt suppose to buy, but couldnt resist some of the paper collections. Had a lovely few hours scrapping and chatting. Managed to complete a layout and start another with the new kit.

Unwritten

My latest layout involves using vanessa excellent sketch over at the scrummy stash cafe blog..........find it here. I've used the new Basic Grey papers from the marakesh range, they are lovely colours to work with. I've also used the lyrics from Natasha Bedingfields hit "unwritten", which means alot at this point of time in my life..............closing one book and opening another....

I havent scrapped in ages..................as work has over taken. Head full of ideas, hoping to get time to get something put down on paper soon. Also I behind on a couple of cjs..........sorry peeps :(

First completed with the gorgeous Poppy papers from SEI, just love working with them. journalling reads new job, new direction, new future, new me!!!
