more Wednesday night scrapping

I'm loving my Wednesday night scrapping, with the help of kirsty's sketches, she posts sketch about 8pm on her blog................there is usually a challenge too. I'm well inspired and become strangely creative. The online chat was funny, even made James chuckle. Lots of gorgeous layouts created and all so different, made me think about how we all started at the same point and end up with something completely different. I have tweeked my layout a little from last night, actually just added some journalling strips

Today is my day off but had to endure the joys of Asda............I'm sure online shopping is the way to go

supplies used are mainly papers from Crate (that just arrived yesterday) some thickers.........no title complete without them  and a bit string, ooooh and some stitching.

Monday Monday

Well thats the weekend sadly over..........Saturday went to WeightWatchers to get weighed and amazingly lost another 4lbs, so now only got 9lbs to goal, but thinking maybe need to loose another half a stone on top of that....10 stone seems a more likely target.

Yesterday the girls came over for a spot of lunch and a bit of scrapping...........I came up with this layout using  October Afternoon papers, based on Wendy's Pencil line sketch (#206). Checkout Wendys blog, fab work from a oober talented lady..............this week she has some fab card sketches to follow, I must have a go.

We think mice are rather nice

James loved this Cat n Mouse game when he was younger, also combined it with a well loved song as a title.

Hopefully will be back with something from Kirsty's Wednesday night online crop......I love Wednesdays.

I'm loving Wednesdays

I know its Thursday, but had to wait til today to get a half decent picture. I'm loving Kirsty's online line crop, on a Wednesday night, you either use the sketch or a 5 product challenge or even both if you are really clever......why not pop over to her blog here and see what's going on. I used her fabulous sketch, I got a bit lost and my layout didn't quite follow the sketch, but hey ho!!! After sticking and thinking, then re thinking and re sticking...............ended with something I was quite happy with.

All about me

Supplies used "claire" paper and ribbon from SEI, couple of martha Stewart punches, Jenni Bowlin butterflies, october afternoon fonts, thickers alphas, stamps away journalling stamp and a bit of bling.

Might actually tweek it a bit and add some stitching, which I didnt get round to last night..........as deadline was looming.

Thanks for looking x

Sunday Walk

As you may know I'm trying desperately trying to loose weight, so as well as dieting I'm trying to walk about 30 miles a week and along with my running (haha only 3 miles at a time) three times a week. Well today I popped my ipod in and set off for the normal 5 miles..........................................................a little while later found myself in Seaburn which I think is about 5 miles from home, then I had to walk all the way back, so today clocked 10 miles today. Heres a photo of the view on the way back, was extremely windy need to get a wooly hat to keep my ears warm.

Right now for the scrapping...........I've been playing with this sketch from Alix's blog great sketch thanks for inspiration.....whoop whoop 2nd layout of the week.

REUNION 2010

suppiles used most Pink Paislee "Bayberry" pattterned paper, flip it notes, pleated ribbon, also gems, thickers, martha stewart butterfly punch, and a couple of blossoms with a brad from my stash.

Hooray Its the weekend

Hooray Its the weekend, I dont have any plans but kinda like that sometimes on a weekend. I plan to chill, watch some movies, catch up with reading (my reading pile just keeps getting longer, really must take a photo and maybe scrap it) and tonight will be watching the x factor, snuggled up on sofa with James, maybe we'll even treat ourselves to a bit of choccy too.............yummy.

Heres today's card..........I've kept it simple, love this santa stamp its a few years old, not sure where its from, Ive coloured in with promarkers and added a touch of sparkle. The papers are old too from ki memories again. I didnt feel the need to add anything else, but now I've uploaded I'm not sure, love to know what you think...........does it need a greeting or something else???
