busy busy busy Tuesday

Busy busy busy.................Still busy clearing out. Ebay sales went well last week, listed a few more items..................but still tons of stuff to photograph and list. Not really had time to scrap although a couple of half finished bits are sitting on my desk, waiting for inspiration and a little time. Trying to get my jobs done, so can have a couple of hours to myself on Thursday. Last night climbed and conquered the huge ironing pile. This morning I made this card using Cupid range from Pink Paislee...........for a card order, only another 9 to go, haha best get cracking. Well off to my proper job, then back to the card making when I get home after dinner with the parents. Hope everyone has a lovely Tuesday, whatever we are doing and thanks for all the lovely comments.

Day off..........well no work, but no rest

Its my day off today, spending its mostly sorting through junk, old toys and unwanted stuff. We are having a well needed de-clutter. Sorting stuff for ebay, car boot, charity shop and bin............stuff I had put on ebay is going ok and hoping to get some other stuff listed this weekend too. Sorted out kitchen drawers, why oh why do we keep so many wires and cables..............was a huge pile stuffed in one drawer, dont even know what half of them are for.....is it just me???

On the scrapping front I'm getting nowhere fast, so much stuff I wanted to do so little time. Well the other night I took a few hours out of sorting to play along with the Challenge on Sarah's Blog. This months challenge is a lovely sketch from Rachel Ward.......checkout her blog. I used the MME papers "quite contrary" from my Scrapbook Nook kit and a oldish photo of James with my dad and buttons from that button box which need sorting lol...............well if I use them I need not sort them haha.

More Pink Paislee............yummy

Just found out I didnt get a DT place, thought it was a long shot, but I had fun creating my layout. Heres the sketch Inspired Blueprints supplied to follow, its a great sketch inspired blog. Seeing lots of peeps commented on my sneak peak......heres the layout too and Maria look I stuck to the sketch...haha
The Girls

using the lovely bayberry collection from Pink Paislee, yet again and added a few prima swirls, well actually was just one swirl cut up, I'm a bit too mean to use more than one...........I'm well loving their new ranges and got lots to play with, so watch this space for more Pink Paislee layouts haha

James and I are having a good old clear out, actually my flat looks like a junk shop at moment......and probably will get worse before it gets better. I've listed a few things on ebay for a start and a lot more to got on in the next few weeks...........so hopefully it'll be many trips to the post office. If it dont sell I'm going to car boot it. Well its all extra cash.......................even debating to sell my cricut expression as I dont use it and have only a couple of times, and didnt miss it at all when it went on holiday for nearly a year. I being ruthless nothing is safe if we havent used it, its going a journey.....I keep so much rubbish. Lets hope my rubbish is somebody elses treasure. Will let you know the outcome as I'm a newbie to this ebaying marlarky. Do share your ebaying stories............

Sunday 18 April 2010

On Thursday I spent an afternoon with my friend Amanda. We had a lovely lunch and spend the rest of the afternoon chatting and scrapping. We both start with the same sketch from Scrapbook Magazine, but as usual  I produced a layout that didnt really look anything like the sketch. I used more Pink Paislee papers this time from the "cupid" range, had been dying to use these papers. I'm loving Pink Paislee at the mo. When I arrived home was greet with a box of goodies from papermaze.  Guess what more Pink Paislee 360 degree and queen bee and also some Crate papers too. I was so surprise as only ordered them the day before, excellent service Vanessa, thank you

Under the weather

I'm not feeling very good at moment.........feeling quite low and a bit unwell. Thanks Samm and Maria for your support..........love you x

Had two kits from Scrapbook Nook arrive yesterday, so to cheer myself up........I got on with a little scrapping. Will keep the results under wraps as I have applied for a design team place, probs got no chance but I enjoyed working with the sketch and that what counts. Also was great to catch up with Amanda for a cuppa, sorry honey I wasnt feel so great.

Off for a slice of homemade Lasagne and also Strawberries and cream too. Hopefully a chillout night with James if I can get him off his x box for awhile.

I'll leave you with a sneaky peep of what I've been working on...........with the most gorgeous bayberry cottage papers from pink paislee.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter to you all...............Hope the Easter Bunny was good to you.

Easter Weekend has been fairly quiet affair, so left me plenty of time for scrapping. I've been playing with this months kit from Sarah's Cards. I've struggled with this kit, not really my cup of tea, but pretty happy with the results I have achieved. Think all I added was some Thickers from a previously kit, a bit stickles and a few gems.
My friend Sally

A mother love

Thanks for looking and Enjoy your Easter Sunday xxxx
