Under the weather

I'm not feeling very good at moment.........feeling quite low and a bit unwell. Thanks Samm and Maria for your support..........love you x

Had two kits from Scrapbook Nook arrive yesterday, so to cheer myself up........I got on with a little scrapping. Will keep the results under wraps as I have applied for a design team place, probs got no chance but I enjoyed working with the sketch and that what counts. Also was great to catch up with Amanda for a cuppa, sorry honey I wasnt feel so great.

Off for a slice of homemade Lasagne and also Strawberries and cream too. Hopefully a chillout night with James if I can get him off his x box for awhile.

I'll leave you with a sneaky peep of what I've been working on...........with the most gorgeous bayberry cottage papers from pink paislee.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter to you all...............Hope the Easter Bunny was good to you.

Easter Weekend has been fairly quiet affair, so left me plenty of time for scrapping. I've been playing with this months kit from Sarah's Cards. I've struggled with this kit, not really my cup of tea, but pretty happy with the results I have achieved. Think all I added was some Thickers from a previously kit, a bit stickles and a few gems.

A mother love

Thanks for looking and Enjoy your Easter Sunday xxxx

Happy Wednesday

Well well its seem my mojo is still with me............hooray. Just finished off the last of my layouts in progress, back to the drawing board tonight. With this layout I was trying to give it a retro feel, as photos were taken in the 70's. These Cosmo Cricket "Early bird" patterned papers that came with the September Sarahs Cards Kit seems perfect, added some gingham ribbon, thickers with came with a kit, stickles and a butterfly cut from some Jellybean Soup paper.
Family Day Out

Well options evening went well, looks like James can do most of the GCSE's he wants...........may even be able to do all. So thats good news so I might be able to sleep now. Thanks for popping over, I'm off to work, see you all soon x

Butterflies..........

Morning crafters.................Its a busy old week this week extra hours at work, also meeting for James at school regarding his options for his GCSE's. My dont they grown up quick, hes fancies being an optician so Maths and Science is the road ahead. He's made really good choices in his subject selection but looking at option form I may have a fight on my hands................hes not interested in creative stuff, possibly cos hes not so good at it, so doesnt want to do art, music, or design and technology.........hes opted for more academic subjects. Would you believe it dont think it's possible to do all three sciences, french, geography and history as they is only one open option and three subject he wants to do ..............whats the world coming to when you had to take music or art over more important subjects. Well I have to hear what they say tonight at meeting..........rant over.

Been busy last weekend creating a few new cards for Romany Lane, so here are a couple of the designs I've completed using Cosmo Cricket "everlasting?" range just added lace, Martha Stewart punch (a firm favourite at the mo) and a few pearls

Thanks for popping over, should have some more stuff to upload later. x

Mojo is back......

Well well my mojo seems to be back...........but for how long? so taking advantage of it while it last. Firstly thanks for comment on my previous layout, the butterfly was just made by drawing around a couple of chip board shapes inked the edges to add dimension and adding some pearls.......easy peasy. Well here is the next layout using Sarah Cards Kit January one I think............title was taking from a Take that track...........as that was the reason we were in Edinburgh , also used pencil line sketch 175

Is Spring on its way?

Hooray, the sun has got his hat on.................does that mean spring is on its way?

I'm enjoying a weeks holiday from work, James is at school so it pretty much a week to do what I like. Still trying to get over this ruddy cold, feeling much better today than yesterday. Yesterday I caught up with Amanda and Sopia, I think Amanda has more stash than me. Today I've had a bit of a walk in the sunshine. Then spent the afternoon scrapping. I played with a kit from Sarahs Cards and the new Pencilline Sketch #176, well it didnt turn out much like the sketch, as usual I went my merry way.............but love the result.
